The Red Devils summer overhaul could see them lose two of their key men in midfield.

Serie A outfit Inter Milan has submitted a player plus cash offer to sign Manchester United's Nemanja Matic. The Nerazzurri aims to reach the Red Devils' valuation of the Serbian midfielder with an offer of £10 million plus Radja Nainggolan.

Matic was among the players subjected to criticism by fans for his poor run of form as Manchester United ended last season's Premier League campaign in sixth position. Recent speculations suggest that the 30-year-old ex-Chelsea star could be shown the exit door this summer and he is expect to discuss his future with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the coming weeks.

According to ESPN, Matic has been made aware of the interest from Inter and wants assurance over his playing time next season before making a decision. Meanwhile, Manchester United has reportedly lined up Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff as the Serbian's long-term replacement.

However, reports from England have indicated that the Magpies are adamant to do business with their league rivals. As a result, they have slapped a fee in the excess of £50 million on the 21-year-old midfielder who made only 13 senior team appearances.

While Manchester United's summer overhaul is still on a steady pace, Paul Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola has finally broke his silence on the Frenchman's purported move away. On Friday, he revealed that the Frenchman is keen on securing a transfer away and the Red Devils are well aware of his intentions.

"Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul's wishes," Raiola told The Times.

"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

Both Juventus and Real Madrid are circling to battle for the signature of the World Cup winner and the weeks ahead could be testing for Manchester United as he still remains central to the plans of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The 26-year-old midfielder is the only player yet to report back to the Red Devil's pre-season having been given the authorization by the club to go on a promo tour for Adidas.

As per the rumors, Paul Pogba's value is set at £150 million should any club come knocking at the Old Trafford outfit's doors. According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid is waiting for the French midfielder to hand in an official transfer request.

However, Los Blancos is unwilling to match the figure slapped on the player by Manchester United but, instead, will include one of its stars plus cash for the wantaway star.
