Monaco will be looking to pick up a much needed victory as they take on Nantes. Although Les Rouges et Blancs are still struggling with injuries, they are unbeaten in their last two games and will be hoping to try to leapfrog Dijon into safety. Leonardo Jardim has been brought back for a second spell after the Thierry Henry experiment failed miserably, and the Portuguese tactician will be keen on showing that the club made a serious mistake dismissing him in the first place.

They've won just one game so far under Jardim's tenure, whilst conceding seven goals, so clearly, they have not fully sorted themselves out just yet. As for Nantes, they finally picked up their first win in in six games midweek by earning a narrow 1-0 victory over Caen. It was vital as they had to play with ten men following Andrei Girotto's early dismissal and more important, it was a crucial three points against a fellow relegation rival which now gives them some breathing room as it puts them seven points clear of 17th-placed Dijon.

It has been a very difficult past few weeks for Nantes as their star striker Emiliano Sala tragically died in a plane crash in the English Channel whilst en route to his new club Cardiff City following a January transfer, and the club, who opted to retire his no. 9 jersey in his honor,  has struggled to cope both on and off the pitch in his absence. The visitors will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories in the league to keep on moving up the table, but will Monaco be able to earn what would be only their second home win of the season?
