Preview: Juventus vs Frosinone
Juventus come into this game having easily beat Sassuolo 3-0, and it was the result Massimiliano Allegri was seeking after the Bianconeri had gone through a difficult week. La Vecchia Signora have re-established their double-digit lead at the top of the league table and will have a great chance to make it a massive 14-point margin when relegation candidates Frosinone come to town on Friday evening.
Prior to the win over the Neroverdi, Juventus had shipped six goals in their last two games across all competitions. The first was during a shock 3-0 loss to Atalanta in the Coppa Italia and the second during a nervy three-all draw against Parma. Fortunately, they seem to have gotten themselves out of that rut and have started to welcome back several of their key defenders, including Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, which comes at the perfect time ahead of their Champions League showdown next week against Atletico Madrid.
Frosinone sit in 19th spot, and despite picking up a 1-0 win over Sampdoria last weekend, the Canarini are looking set for the drop at the end of this term. They have won just three games all season, with two of those victories coming in their last five games, and have never beaten Juventus in a competitive fixture. Certainly, the struggling visitors will hope that Juventus will be already distracted with their upcoming round of 16 clash against Los Rojiblancos as they look to try to snatch what would be an unlikely point at Allianz Stadium.
