LiveSoccerTV's match preview provides team news, match facts, and global broadcast listings for Lazio vs Sevilla in the Europa League round of 32.

Current form: Lazio vs Sevilla

Lazio recovered from a dip in form to pick up back to back wins in Serie A and are now just one point away from AC Milan, who sit in fourth spot. The Aquile, however, have been struggling to get goals, and have failed to net more than once in their last five across all competitions. That includes narrow victories over Fiorentina and struggling Empoli, but they did see off Inter in the Coppa Italia via spot kicks following a scoreless draw, so Lazio still do have a realistic shot at clinching some silverware this term.

Meanwhile, Sevilla have gone three games sans a win and overall have picked up just two victories in their last eight across all competitions. That being said, Los Rojiblancos have a very strong track record in the Europa League and were the top scorers in the group stage with 18 goals.Yet although they have won all but two of their 12 European games this season, Sevilla have had their difficulties picking up results on the road, and save for a 3-2 away win against Akhisar on matchday four, their last victory away from home was beating Liverpool 3-1 en route to winning the final in 2016.

Notably, they suffered a shocking loss to Eastern European outfit Krasnodar in their first away game during the group stages, and they also lost to Standard Leige as well. Were it not for their impressive home form, as well as the narrow 3-2 win over Akhisar, Sevilla could have ended up second, or possibly not even qualified from their quartet as Standard Leige only missed out on a round of 32 spot by two points.

That being said, they have made the Europa League their turf in recent seasons and with Lazio struggling to keep clean sheets this season, the Spanish side could pose a serious threat to Simone Inzaghi's side at the Stadio Olimpico.

How they got here: Lazio vs Sevilla

Lazio finished second by a whopping nine points in their quartet behind group leaders Eintracht Frankfurt, but still managed to better the results of third-placed Apollon and thus the Biancocelesti were able to book their spot in the round of 32.

As for Sevilla, Los Rojiblancos have dominated this competition in recent years, and will be hoping to once again get their hands on the trophy. They finished top of their quartet and arguably, due to their impressive history, are viewed as a serious contender to make it all the way to the final.
