The Argentine coach provided an injury update ahead of Wednesday's game right after complaining about the team's tight schedule.

Real Madrid fans can rest easy: Santiago Solari seems to be full of confidence for Wednesday's matchup.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference, the Los Blancos boss kept talking about his team's unbeaten form in the last five games, trying to pile on the pressure to his hosts on Wednesday.

Furthermore, Solari believes that both teams get to this match in similar circumstances due to their recent antics in La Liga and in this competition.

"Coaches and football players love the competition. The moment of truth will come tomorrow. There is no big difference between both sides. All I want is for the fans to enjoy a great game...and of course, I want us to walk out with the win," Solari said.

Before Lionel Messi's presence in the game was confirmed, Solari denied being worried about the extra pressure on his team if the Argentine did not play. Furthermore, Solari dared Ernesto Valverde to use his compatrior from the beginning of the game.

"It's always good to have the best players and to face them in all the games. We don't care if he plays or not, we have established our game plan in advance," Solari stated.

The former midfielder refused to reveal his starting lineup, adding that the team's further commitments may determine which players he fields from the start tomorrow.
