The Copa America Draw Sets the Stage For 12 Teams to Meet in Brazil Next June 14- July 7. All 26 Matches Will Broadcast Live on Telemundo Networks and Livestream via the Telemundo Deportes App

Telemundo Deportes shared details of its 2019 Copa America coverage plans. As the exclusive Spanish-language home of the tournament taking place in Brazil June 14-July 7, this network will present all 26 matches live in Spanish on Telemundo, Universo, and Telemundo Deportes' app and digital platforms.

Telemundo Deportes will offer the most extensive Spanish-language coverage ever across all its media platforms, ensuring the most robust viewing experience for all soccer fans. 

All South American teams joined by Japan and Qatar were drawn into three groups last Thursday.

Brazil will face Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru in Group A. Argentina, who has not won a Copa America since 1993, will face Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar in Group B. Also being closely watched are Chile, the winner of the last two Copa America titles, and Uruguay, the holder of the most Copa America titles, who will go head to head in Group C along with Ecuador and Japan. 

Copa América will not be the only tournament broadcast by Telemundo Deportes, since the FIFA Womens World Cup will also take place next summer.

Over the course of one month we will be providing extensive coverage from two continents, presenting 78 matches and starring 36 teams with the best players in the world," Ray Warren, president of Telemundo Deportes stated.

Telemundo's coverage will be led by renowned sports journalist Miguel Gurwitz and Mexican soccer legend, Carlos Hermosillo. Five-time Emmy Award winner Andres Cantor alongside experts Sammy Sadovnik, Copan Alvarez, Manuel Sol, Erasmo Provenza and Viviana Vila will all have a key role in the tournament's coverage. 

Telemundo will be covering all angles of the event with a dedicated production team based in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, added to their crews that will travel across all five host cities: Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Porto Alegre and Salvador. 

Telemundo Deportes' broadcast will feature analysis and preview prior to kickoff of each and every match. The day will wrap up with a special, extended 60-minute edition of "Titulares y Más," Telemundo's late-night sports and entertainment show that will air in its extended format throughout the duration of the tournament. The show will be anchored by its renowned hosts, Karim Mendiburu and Ana Jurka who will be participating from Paris bringing together all the Summer of Soccer action. "Titulares y Más" will highlight the best of the day and the main storylines ahead of the next series of matches, featuring original content produced on-the-ground in Brazil. 

Telemundo's regular daily programming will complement the coverage with their unique perspective surrounding Copa America and the host country. 

Telemundo Deportes will present special 60-minute shows previewing the Opening Match and the Semi-Finals. The production of these shows will be fully based in Rio de Janeiro providing viewers with a tour of the host cities, insights into the participating teams and players as well as the analysis, reactions and predictions of the tournament going into key matches. Additionally, on July 7, there will be an extended 90-minute preview of the Final Match and a 60-minute recap including the award ceremony.

On the digital front, all 26 matches, in addition to the pre-game programming, will stream live via the Telemundo Deportes app. Telemundo Deportes' digital platforms will also complement the television coverage with additional, exclusive short- and long-form content on TelemundoDeportes.com and social media platforms that highlights the tournament, players, teams, stats, match highlights, host cities and the local culture.
