Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero reached a career milestone with his goal in the 6-1 victory over Southampton on Sunday. The 30-year-old forward found himself on the scoreboard after Wesley Hoedt's own-goal handed his side the lead in the sixth minute.
A barrage of goals followed afterward with David Silva scoring in the 18th-minute and Raheem Sterling getting his first of the day in added time of the first-half. In between, Danny Ings grabbed the equalizer for the visitors from the penalty spot.
Raheem Sterling then scored his second against Southampton in the 67th-minute and Leroy Sane accentuated Man City's dominance by grabbing the last goal in the first minute of regulation time. In retrospect, Sergio Aguero's goal was his 150th in the English Premier League after 217 appearances. Per the competition's historical books, only Alan Shearer (212 games) managed the same number of goals in a lesser number of games.
Very happy for this win and for scoring my 150th goal on the @premierleague with this great club. A big thanks to all the team and fans for their support. And we're going for even more! #mancity pic.twitter.com/ihFD7qc55q

Relatively, Manchester City celebrated a minute milestone with its win on Sunday. The 6-1 scoreline means that the Etihad outfit has now scored five or more goals in a single Premier League game for the 12th time with Pep Guardiola in charge. The tally is six times more than that achieved by any other team in the English domestic league since the start of the 2016/2017 season.
