The Southeast Asian Games, also referred to as the SEA Games, is a multi-sport event held once every two years that sees the members of Southeast Asia participate. It is one of the five subregional games of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and staged its first event in 1959. Soccer/football has been one of the key sports events in this competition and has been contested since day one.
