Competitions available on Ziggo Sport Select

	UEFA Champions League (2021-2024) Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport has extended its media rights to the UEFA Champions League for three additional seasons, from 2021 to 2024. Ziggo Sport will show all Champions Leagues matches on its television and digital platforms in the Netherlands throughout the period of the deal. Ziggo Sport’s Champions League coverage will include simulcasts, early-kickoff fixtures, match highlights and more. 	Spain - La Liga (2026-2029) Pay-tv broadcaster Ziggo has extended its Dutch rights to the Spanish La Liga until the 2028-29 season. This comes as Ziggo renewed its existing agreement set to end in 2024, to another five additional seasons through 2029.

Ziggo Sport Select is a Dutch pay-television channel owned by VodafoneZiggo (a joint venture between Vodafone and Liberty Global) and operated by Ziggo. It was launched on November 12, 2015, as part of the package known as Ziggo Sport Totaal, which has included other sports-specific channels over the years.

Ziggo Sport Select has been considered as Ziggo Sport Totaal’s main channel, with most of its content being mirrored on Ziggo Sport 14, a channel not included in the multi-channel package. The content aired on this channel over the years has focused on bringing fans closer to major sporting events such as football games, motorsports events, tennis tournaments, basketball games, and golf competitions. Other contents featured on this channel have included documentaries, sports-related films, and more.

Speaking about football, Ziggo Sport Select has been able to cover events such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and domestic competitions such as the English Premier League, the Italian Serie A, the Spanish Primera División, or the Belgian Pro League. Only the top games from each league will be available on this channel, as there has been a football-specific channel included in Ziggo Sport Totaal over the years.

The channel has been available since its launch in High Definition, although a downscaled version of this feed is available to those users who have not switched to HD technology.
