The Gunners need a miracle to beat Manchester City to the title on the final day of the season. Unfortunately, the North London giants will have to pull this off without one of their best players.

Arsenal take on Everton in the final round of the 2023-24 Premier League season and while this fixture could be decisive in whether they lift the title or not, the Gunners will sadly be without one of their best players.

That man is Bukayo Saka, who is both their top scorer and assist provider in the league this term. Not only does the Englishman miss out on Arsenal's final lineup of the campaign, but the winger is also absent from the squad altogether, with the North London giants revealing that this is down to a slight muscle issue.

The 22-year-old started last weekend in their crucial trip to Manchester United before limping off the Old Trafford pitch with an injury after tumbling down the pitch and into the advertising board in the second half.

This is a huge blow for the Gunners as they look to miraculously beat rivals Manchester City to the Premier League title. Arteta's men must beat Everton, hence why Saka's absence is concerning, but even that alone might not be enough.

The hosts sit two points behind Haaland and Co. but boast a superior goal difference. This means Arsenal need a win on the final day plus a slip-up from Guardiola's side to be crowned the champions of England for the first time since 2004.

Gabriel Martinelli has been given a rare start in Saka's absence. The Brazilian attacker, who was the club's joint-top scorer in the Premier League last season, dropped out of the lineup in favor of the in-form Leandro Trossard. The winger has now been given the opportunity to shine — albeit on the opposite side of the pitch.
