Milan seem locked in as runners-up, but with four games to play, there is a ten-point difference between Juventus (third) and Lazio (seventh). Speaking of the battle to avoid relegation, Sassuolo need to win as many games as possible to stand a chance to stay afloat, as they are five poitns away from salvation with only twelve to play for. Hellas Verona, Frosinone, and Empoli are still involved in that race, as Udinese is two points behind those clubs. Added to that, Salernitana are now relegated and already preparing for a grueling 2024-25 season in Serie B.
