About Slovenski Superpokal
Slovenski Superpokal History, Format, Organization, Media Coverage
The Slovenski superpokal (Slovenian Super Cup) was an annual one-off match between the Slovenian First Football League champion and the Slovenian Cup winner. It was initially established in 1995 but went into hiatus after the second edition in 1996. 2007 saw the tournament make its return, with Domžale beating Koper 2-1 to lift that trophy. Unfortunately, after nine seasons, the Slovenian Super Cup was abolished in 2015.
